YouTube Traffic Blueprint: Convert Viewers into Website Visitors

Welcome to “The Teacher” channel! In this video, we’re diving into a game-changing strategy to boost website traffic using YouTube Cards and the “Associated Website” feature on YouTube’s End Screen Elements.

**Key Points:**

1. **Consistent Experiment:** This marks the third consistent experiment I’ve conducted to drive traffic to my website, [TheTeacherPoint.com](https://www.theteacherpoint.com/), using YouTube Cards.

2. **Viewer’s Needs:** Many of my popular videos revolve around PowerPoint Animation, and viewers often want to download the presentations. While I’ve always included download links in the video descriptions, I’ve noticed that many people don’t click on “Show more…” to access them.

3. **Win-Win Situation:** This experiment benefits both viewers/students and “The Teacher.” By adding an “Associated Website” Card to my top 50 videos, viewers can now easily access the specific content they’re interested in, such as downloading a file, learning more, reviewing products, or making purchases.

4. **Website Association:** To get started with this strategy, you’ll need to associate your website with your YouTube channel. It’s a straightforward process:
– Click on “Settings” in the left side pane of YouTube Studio.
– Navigate to “Channel,” then “Advanced Settings.”
– Scroll down and click on “Advanced Channel Settings.”
– Under “Associated website,” enter your website URL. Keep in mind that you’ll need to verify your website ownership through a verification method.

5. **Redirecting Viewers:** Once your website is verified, you can begin adding your favorite URLs from your site to both YouTube Cards and YouTube End Screens. This enables you to direct your YouTube viewers to your website to accomplish specific tasks or access valuable content.
